MindTheApp was born amidst the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown period when co-founder Mariza Stagaki was offering online psychological support sessions to university students struggling with depression, anxiety and loneliness. Struggling to meet the high demand, she turned to co-founder and long-time friend Lydia Chatziioannou for a solution. Lydia came up with the idea of a FREE mobile app designed to help people improve their mental health and well-being by completing simple everyday tasks.
MindTheApp has one mission: to support users in their journey towards self-recovery and a more fulfilling life. We follow the evidence-based principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion-focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy.
